# Delete Room

### Overview

This API deletes an **IPD room** of your workspace. The delete is a soft delete: the room is archived, not removed.

> **Cascading archive:** deleting a room also archives **every bed in that room**. Archived rooms and beds are no longer returned in listings.

Returns `400` with `Room not found` when the `room_id` does not exist or belongs to another workspace.
