# Stop and bill room meters

> The final stop at clearance or discharge: stops every open room meter and posts the accrued nights as charges. Pass `endedAt` to bill up to a past time (for example the discharge time) and stop there. Returns the ids of the charges posted.

The admission must be on new billing (`use_new_billing`); otherwise this returns 409. Returns 503 when billing is not configured on the server, and 502 when the billing service fails.
